Forcepoint is one of the world’s largest private cyber security companies. As a Software Engineer Summer Intern at Forcepoint. You will learn many new aspects of marketing, especially as it relates to cyber security & marketing to government consumers.

What will you be doing?

This full-time summer internship will allow candidates to learn many new aspects of marketing, especially as it relates to business to government and cyber security marketing. Tasks may include collecting and analyzing data to identify consumer trends, creating content, monitoring, and managing social media promotions, assisting with marketing campaigns, preparing presentations, and assisting with the purchasing process. The ideal intern is a focused, self-starter, willing to work in a collaborative team environment, willing to grow & learn processes using many marketing & operational tools.

What experience(s), knowledge, and education we are looking for:

• University enrolled, degree seeking BS or higher, computer science major – currently completing freshman year or later
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to translate complex research into common language
• Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation software
• Aptitude with various social media platforms as well as the data tracking tools associated with them
• Ability to quickly learn and process information
• Organization and time management skills
