What is Hamdard Foundation Scholarship?
The Hamdard Foundation is a philanthropic organization dedicated to empowering students from economically weaker backgrounds. The Hamdard Foundation Scholarship is an initiative that provides financial assistance to meritorious students who aspire to pursue higher education but lack the financial means to do so. The scholarship covers a wide range of academic disciplines and has helped numerous students realize their educational dreams.
Hakim Mohammed Said Memorial Scholarship:
The Hamdard Foundation Pakistan, working towards a more educated nation, has been educating numerous children throughout the country. The late Hakim Mohammed Said, a visionary, believed that the knowledge shared by scholars through their writings is more valuable than any sacrifice.
In 2002-03, the Hamdard Foundation Pakistan introduced the Hakim Mohammed Said Memorial Scholarships, initially offered to a limited number of Matric Pass and Inter Pass students from Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar, and Quetta Boards. However, as part of its expansion, the foundation now provides the Shaheed Hakim Mohammed Said Memorial Scholarship to students from all 26 Government Boards for matriculation and intermediate studies.
The Hakim Mohammed Said Memorial Scholarship is granted annually to deserving students who have passed their Matric or Intermediate examinations based on both merit and financial need. Matric students receive Rs. 25,000 per year, while Intermediate students are awarded Rs. 50,000 per year.
