Functional Responsibilities:

The selected candidate will work under the direct supervision of HR Officer and will be responsible to perform the following duties:

  • Assist in reviewing of incoming requests and documents relating to recruitment, contract extensions/shortenings, transfers and separation of ICAs, consultants.
  • Support to follow-up with relevant personnel of all recruitment-related documentation for proper contract management including mandatory certificates and other types of HR documents in compliance with organizational requirements
  • Maintain and update different databases developed internally for recruitment updates, working locations, absence and learning and development plans
  • Register details as appropriate in the One UNOPS-ERP System (OU) and in the Staffing Table
  • Assist in the e-filing and ensure that documents and supporting files are accurate, complete and properly filed for audit purposes.

Education/Experience/Language requirements:

Academic Qualifications

Candidates must have recently completed a Bachelors,or Masters (preferably MBA, MPA, Psychology, or other relevant discipline) or have graduated from such studies within three (3) years prior to the applications date of the internship.

Computer Literacy

  • Good IT skills are required.
  • Experience of working in google suit applications including google docs, Sheets and slides is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of ERP systems is an asset

Language Skills

Fluency in English is required
