Job Title: Sustainability Intern

About the job

Sustable is a technology company that develops software on carbon management and climate disclosure management. We are seeking a highly motivated Sustainability Intern to support our team in developing and maintaining our carbon management and climate disclosure software platform in accordance with ISO 14064-1 and GHG protocol. The successful candidate will gain hands-on experience in the field of sustainability and will work alongside our team of experts in developing innovative solutions for our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Support the development and maintenance of our carbon management and climate disclosure software platform in accordance with ISO 14064-1 and GHG protocol
• Conduct research and analysis on sustainability issues and best practices
• Participating in meetings with international standards and audit organizations
• Assist with data collection and analysis to support carbon management and climate disclosure reporting
• Help develop and deliver sustainability training and awareness programs for our clients
• Assist with sustainability-related communication and stakeholder engagement initiatives
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of new software features and functionalities

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in sustainability, environmental science, or a related field
• Strong understanding of sustainability concepts and issues
• Familiarity with carbon management and climate disclosure processes and protocols is a plus
• Excellent research and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
